Rondón

The incomparable freshness and direct liveliness of Alberti’s poem makes it easy for me to take the 10 years of ‘Flamencos en route’ lightly for once. With that much light and ease the bygone sweat and the effort of the hardly gotten trough moments are pushed into the shadows. In the fore is the fun about the attempt and the joy at the realization of the idea of ‘Flamencos en route’. We owe this idea and the courage therefore to Susana and ‘Rondón’, our celebration programme, is dedicated to her. At this point I would like to thank everybody who supported ‘Flamencos en route’ in any form at any time. My special thanks goes to the dancers, the musicians and the singers of ‘Flamencos en route’, through their wonderful cooperation they made it possible to conjure the right ‘aire’ and the authentic ‘gracia’ of ‘Rondón’ onto the stage.

The company unveils an array of classical images, alegrias, tangos, por Soleá, and so on, and shows that all its members are top-class artists. In impressive group scenes with perfectly homogeneous, often powerfully enchanting zapateados and palmas and wonderful individual performances.
